Voluntary Pre-K

Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) is a government funded, free, three hour, five days a week, school year program, aimed to prepare four-year-old children for kindergarten and build the foundation for their educational success. VPK is available to all four-year-olds born on or before September 1 who reside in Florida, regardless of family income.

Our VPK program is designed to stretch children and present opportunities to develop more responsibility, initiative, and problem solving skills. Through play and social interaction, children learn and develop a positive self concept in school.

Our Curriculum

Our VPK Program utilizes the Frog Street Pre-K curriculum.  “It is a comprehensive, research-based program that integrates instruction across developmental domains and early learning disciplines.”

To start the process of enrolling in the VPK program you must first apply for a VPK certificate. For those residing in Pasco and Hernando County you can do so by clicking the photo below.
